Nurturing global biomedical convergence talents based on comprehensive knowledge of advanced Biopharmaceuticals
SCH Department of Integrated Biomedical Science's biomedical sciences major leads the field of global medi-bio research. This advanced major aims to cultivate global talents in biomedical convergence, with a comprehensive knowledge base covering the entire lifecycle of advanced biopharmaceuticals, including development, non-clinical trials, production, and approval.
*Advanced biopharmaceuticals refer to products defined under the Act on the Safety of and Support for Advanced Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Biological Products, including:
Cell therapy products; Gene therapy products; Tissue-engineered products; and Advanced
biopharmaceutical combination products; These advanced biopharmaceuticals offer innovative treatments for intractable diseases that cannot be addressed by traditional therapies. They also provide new solutions for personalized medicine, regenerative medicine, and precision medicine.
