We Cultivate Creative Talents With Convergence Skills in the Clean Energy Field
In response to the new climate regime following the Paris Agreement and social change in pursuit of happiness and well-being based on abundant clean energy, the Department of Energy Engineering fosters future-oriented experts in multidisciplinary studies, industries, and policymaking related to new energy system and green energy system development that will lead the future.
The energy system is a multidisciplinary area of study that encompasses science and engineering regarding various energy conversions that use hydrogen, solar, and other new energy sources, such as fuel cells and solar cells, as well as energy storage, such as secondary batteries that efficiently use generated electrical energy.
The department provides an innovative curriculum of SCH Media Labs to help students become creative, well-rounded talents in clean energy fields by teaching expertise and practical skills about energy systems, future technologies, based on humanities knowledge about the global environment.
The department aims to nurture future global talents with theoretical and practical skills, from fundamental knowledge to applied technology, who can contribute to making a transition into a green renewable energy system that can replace existing fossil fuels in order to tackle global environmental pollution and global warming.
