We Cultivate IT-Talented Leaders of the 21st-Century Future Industry
The Department of Computer Engineering provides a balanced education on computer software and hardware with the purpose of fostering high-level engineers equipped with both theoretical and practical skills, from basic technology to advanced applied technology. Students start by learning how to creatively solve design tasks in teams through the introductory engineering design course and acquiring element design skills sequentially, and in the fourth year, students will develop comprehensive design skills through the capstone design course. The Department of Computer Engineering is nurturing human resources who will lead future technologies in the computer field by educating advanced skills from basic theories to advanced technologies.
The Department of Computer Engineering aims to nurture talented, creative, sincere, and international engineers. The curriculum is designed to foster creativity and develop application skills. In other words, it is based on problem-based learning (PBL), which places importance on what the student knows how to do rather than what the professor teaches and what the student learns.
